Objectifs
Nowadays, automotive manufacturers are increasingly specifiers and assemblers, while suppliers are becoming designers of intelligent, communicating and collaborative on-board functions. In many respects, automotive design therefore means searching for the best assembly. It requires understanding on-board functions and their interactions, grasping the aim to be achieved, and ensuring smooth and efficient collaboration between the various functions. The Master in Global Automotive Engineering, an internationally oriented degree course, trains systems engineers specifically for the automotive industry. The subjects studied provide in-depth theoretical understanding as well as many concrete applications. The main focus is on the product - the automobile - and the realisation of an industrial project is the driving force behind the degree course. Thanks to case studies and situated learning, the future engineers will be proficient in project management.
